Costumes for boys or girls can be purchased from our online shop. You are welcome to purchase from other suppliers. The best description is "age appropriate and equitable"  we keep the cost down and children dressed as children. Please see the following costume guidelines;

Girls

Sleeved leotard + character or lycra skirt - approx knee length (no floor length skirts or see-through fabrics)
Coloured sash to match.​

Shoes - Latin sandals or black canvas character shoes.

Boys

White or black long-sleeved shirt + black pants.

Bow tie and sash in matching colour to partner.

Can accessorise with cummerbund and/or vest if desired in the same colour as the bow tie.

Shoes - Black ballroom dance shoes or black canvas shoes or plain black school shoes.

Shoes - please note.
Students should wear dance shoes if available, or any plain black school shoes. Dance shoes are also important for providing the right grip on the floor. Runners are okay, but can cause injury when swivelling the foot.
