Thank you for being a part of our team of instructors and for delivering this wonderful program. Much more than a dancing program, you are teaching vital interpersonal skills to children through their journey of dancing together. You are helping to prepare them for some of life’s challenges by improving their ability to understand another person with empathy and how to communicate respectfully, while managing their emotions. You are helping them build resilience when they are uncomfortable. Helping them present in that feeling and grow through the experience. While teaching these skills, I highly recommend reflecting on your own life experiences. Many lightbulb moments will happen when you realise how some of these skills might have helped you navigate challenges when you were their age. This will make your teaching more authentic and meaningful. Never underestimate the positive impact you can have on a child’s life. If you model the behaviour pathway in this program positively and authentically, your students will remember you for the rest of their lives.
